Join us for the new Midcoast Medical Reserve Corps (MRC) Unit Meeting

Midcoast Public Health District
Maine Center for Disease Control and Prevention

Please join us for the second meeting of the new Midcoast Medical Reserve Corps (MRC) unit.

MRC units are made up of both medical and non-medical volunteers interested in supporting their community during a disaster or public health emergency. This new local MRC unit will serve the Midcoast Public Health District, which includes Knox, Lincoln, Sagadahoc and Waldo counties.

Please take a look at the attached agenda for our meeting, which will be held on Wednesday March 22, 2017, from 7:00-8:00 PM at Pen Bay Medical Center (4 Glen Cove Drive Rockport Maine 04856)

We will meet in the Physician’s Building, Conference Room C (Hitchins Conference Center) on the lower level.

The unit will be participating in ongoing training and exercises, learn about setting up and staffing Alternate Care Sites (ACS) and Points of Dispensing (POD) and a number of other essential functions to keep Midcoast Maine healthy and safe during a natural or man-made disaster or other public health emergency.

Please let us know if you have questions. And feel free to share this announcement with interested medical and non-medical folks in your area.

We hope to see you there!
