Atlantic Partners EMS is seeking two (2) qualified individuals to work as part-time (24-hours/week)
Regional Administrators. One of the Administrators will primarily serve the Southern Maine and Mid-
Coast Regions and the other will primarily serve the Northeast and Kennebec Valley Regions.

Position Description: The Regional Administrator will be the point resource person for the EMS agencies and
Hospitals in their designated Regions, to include:
1) Maintaining close communication with, and liaison to, member agencies.
2) Works with the Executive Director on the deliverables as outlined in the contract with Maine EMS.
3) Coordinates and facilitates Regional EMS meetings.
4) Ensures representation of the APEMS membership at related meetings and functions.
5) Provides technical assistance to individual members and agencies.
6) Primary administrative and QI support for the Regional Medical Directors.
This is a part-time, 24-hour per week, flexible schedule, hourly wage position, with the wage being determined
by the Executive Director and approved by the APEMS Board each year. The Administrators reports to the
Executive Director.

Minimum Qualifications:
1) High School Diploma or equivalent required.
2) Valid Driver’s license required
3) Current Maine EMS Licensure required; Paramedic License preferred.
4) Computer literacy and good interpersonal communication skills are required.
5) Experience with EMS QA/QI preferred

Boothbay Region Ambulance Service, a municipal funded 501c3 service, is seeking EMTs, AEMTs, and Paramedics for full-time and part-time positions. We are an innovative, educated, and cutting-edge service with an active community paramedicine program that includes a large pool of public access HEARTSafe AEDs with response plans, telemedicine and telemetry, and a brand-new state-of-the-art station complete with a simulation lab. 

All of this is to serve our tourist destination community, which consists of about 7,000 people natively, but swells to more than 40,000 during peak season, and continues to attract thousands due to special events in the off-season. With a population this large, we must provide a robust team of professionals who are capable of working with patients of all ages and modalities and who can be trusted to provide transport to and from local islands, coordinate rescue with the USCG, and aid in the long-distance transfer of patients. 

We are looking for candidates of any age and experience level who are adaptable and forward-thinking, and who show strong leadership and teamwork skills with attention to detail and the ability to listen and take direction well. Health/Life Insurance

Provides basic and advanced emergency pre-hospital and inter-facility transfer care to patients when indicated by the patient’s injury or illness per State and local protocols. 


Initial assessment and ongoing evaluation of patients 

Record accurate and complete documentation 

Relays information to Emergency Department 

Helps maintain equipment and supplies on ambulances and within the service stock room 

Follows all Maine EMS and CDC guidelines 


Maine certified EMT, AEMT, or Paramedic 

High School diploma or equivalent 

18 years of age or older at time of hire 

Possess, or able to obtain by time of hire, a valid State Driver’s License or certification of Emergency Vehicle Operator’s Course No felony convictions or disqualifying criminal histories in the past seven years 

Must exercise consistent use of sound judgment required for patient care and for maintaining patient confidentiality.

Northeast Mobile Health was founded in 1999 and is Maine’s largest EMS service with bases in Biddeford, Scarborough, Brunswick, Rockport, and Jackman, responding to more than 18,000 calls per year. We are looking for Paramedics to work in our innovative Critical Access Integrated Paramedic Program in Jackman, Maine. This is a complex program that will challenge you professionally. As a Critical Access Integrated Paramedic, you will work as a Rural Health Technician in the Jackman clinic, provide ALS backup to the Jackman/Moose River Valley area, participate in an innovative Community Paramedicine program, and provide after-hours care through the use of telemedicine.

Paramedic starting pay is $28 per hour.

To qualify, you must:

  • Be a licensed Paramedic in Maine with a minimum of two years experience.
  • Successfully complete the Advanced Paramedic Program through Eastern Maine Community College. The class will begin after you are hired and you will be paid while attending class/clinical.
